Each week contains a suggested copywork passage from the book you are reading. Audiobooks are a good substitute if you’re not a fan of reading aloud. These are wonderful books that you’re going to want to experience with your child, so I highly recommend reading them together. The book is meant to be read aloud to your child (though as your child gets older, they could read it themselves). The Arrow is a literature based guide to teach the mechanics of grammar through copywork passages and dictation. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s move on to the review! Ĭost: Products vary in cost and it is best to go to the store to see what resource you need and how much it costs. If you are trying to find a reading comprehension program this is not your best option. , These programs are only for people trying to improve their writing and not really their literature comprehension.

Brave writer enhances the parent-child relationship through the teaching of writing. Brave writer is a writing program that helps kids have the skills to better express themselves through writing. The creator Julie Bogart wanted to create a fun yet empowering program that helps children articulate their ideas through writing. Brave Writer provides a wide range of literature and writing books that can help children of all ages hone their skills.
