It has occurred on Windows 10, 8.1, and 7. On others the issue still occurs in safe mode.
On some of the affected machines safe mode will allow it to open (and then I tried eliminating all add-ons) but still have the issue. I have tried updating Acrobat Reader, Windows, and Office 365 all to their most recent versions, as well as completely uninstalling and reinstalling all of the applications (save for windows.) I've even created a new outlook profile for the users experiencing the issue but it's still happening. I have to manually close out of Outlook through Task Manager. They are all using Office365 (which would be Outlook 2016.) When they view an email in the preview pane (or open the email in its own window) as soon as you click on the attached PDF file outlook turns white and freezes. as of today, no Office updates were in the "Windows Update" and it's still green.I'm an IT professional, and I've noticed in the last few days that several clients in different environments on different versions of windows are having this issue. Search: Outlook Opens Minimized Then Crashes. everything is green until I receive an email that required a reply and that's where I am now. another day burn-in not only for the software stability but for the hardware as well. Everything was stable now so I did a 3 day burn-in before installing "any" software, had a few more "K" updates and then I started the other software installs and everything was fine. After the reboot, I installed MalwareBytes full version and checked Windows Update before another reboot (don't mind the reboot now that I have the SSD HDD ), and I had the green light (Windows is up to date). had a few "K" updates I updated them, Silverlight and Bing I hid because I don't use them. Went back to "Windows Update" to see if "win-doze" didn't like anything. I installed Node32 v6, Firefox v19.0.2, updated Motherboard drivers (MSI 990FCA-GD80),and chipsets, AMD-8 (CPU), drivers and chipsets, EVGA drivers and software.
